What is EVS?
The European Voluntary Service enables young people aged between 18 and 30 to carry out a voluntary service in a country other than their own country of residence. As well as benefiting local communities, volunteers learn new skills and languages, and discover other cultures. An EVS project will potentially focus on a broad range of themes in various areas of intervention. The list extends though and beyond culture, youth, sports, social care, heritage, arts, civil protection, environment, and co-operative development.
